I've recently been building up a carefully curated Spotify playlist, mainly for use at work or when I just don't know what to listen to. If you fancy checking it out, you can take a little listen here.

Currently, I'm very into clutch bags. I like the fact you are forced into taking only your most essential items out with you and it saves my poor back! Here are a couple of my current favourites and one I have 'accidently' purchased in a Zara pay day spend. Can you guess which one?
Maison Scotch @ASOS
Zara Perspex Box Bag
Zara Bracelet Clutch Bag
Zara Metallic Clutch Bag
Acne's Resort SS13 campaign definitely wins my prize for the most original and cutest campaign this season! Combining one of my favourite brands with my favourite dog (My Dad's girlfriend used to have Weimaraners and they beautiful) has got to be a winner. The artist William Wegman has taken the images for the campaign and here are a couple of my favourites.
I'm really into simple, understated jewelery at the moment -especially fine, gold pieces that can be worn with anything and everything.
Natalie Marie Initial Bangle
Daisy Knights Small Star Ring
Steven Alan U-Cuff Earrings
I'm absolutely loving Zara at the moment and here are a couple of looks which are currently tempting me - I love the origami 'skort' and balloon sleeve jumper.
I did a post on amazing new label & Other Stories earlier in the week. It was the night before the online shop opened and I only had a few select press images to base my judgement on. Now I've spent far too much time looking around the shop, I can safely say it features lashings of great items at really decent prices (think less than Cos, but a little more than H&M). Unfortunately, due to a huge electricity bill this month and the Mother's 60th, I have to wait until next Friday to indulge. Nonetheless, here are my top choices from their new collection:
Leather Shopper Bag - £145
Y-Detail Blouse - £39
Leather Print Dress £195
Link Chain Necklace - £25
Suede Hexagonal Skirt - £95
Brass Ball Statement Ring - £12
I've decided when I get paid next week (this day actually can't come soon enough) that I am going to get some trainers, not just any trainers mind you...I'm going to jump on that New Balance bandwagon. I'm not exactly a trainer girl, but if I can wear these to the gym AND out at the weekend then it's winwin in my eyes. I'm really liking the look of the purple pair teamed with black skinnies and a leather jacket - perfect!
Anyone who knows me, will know that I love Cos and I am also partial to a little bit of H&M, so you'll probably appreciate that I was quite excited to learn that the family was expanding with the launch of the label & Other Stories - which nestles itself quite happily between the two. The new label revolves around perennial style 'stories' that evolve from season to season and the collection includes clothing, jewellery, accessories and also a beauty line complete with beautiful packaging. The online shop launches 8th March and the Regent Street store opens later this month - I can't wait to check it out!
I definitely didn't think I would ever see the day that I started lusting after a pair of dungarees having spent most of my childhood dodging my Mother and her obsession with dressing me in striped Racing Green dungarees and pinafore dresses. But alas, thanks to the ladies above I am seriously considering investing in a pair. I can't really see myself pulling off a full denim pair at the moment, but strangely, the black leather ones actually seem quite wearable - especially when teamed with a simple white t-shirt or knit. I love the black Whistles pair (3rd down) but at £350 - I don't think it's going to be a purchase I make anytime soon.
Just a couple of pieces I have my eye on tonight (and because I'm really enjoying making outfit collages!) I'm obsessed with the Zara origami skirt despite the fact it's sold out, probably too short and will need bare legs to make it work. Not so practical for March.
Zara Wrap Mini Skort
Whistles Feminin Sweat
Moxham Osiris Necklace
After getting in at a reasonably sensible hour on a Friday night, I've spent some time perusing some of them SS13 collections and compiling mental wish lists. One collection that really appeals to me is from French Boutique label, IRO, who have been on my radar ever since I picked up and fell in love with their amazing Agnette jacket in the sales last year. Their SS13 collection may not be anything groundbreaking, but boy is it good. The whole collection is completely wearable, yet there is just enough uniqueness in each look to keep me interested and going back for more. I can pretty much see each piece seamlessly fitting into my wardrobe, which is definitely bad news for the bank balance.
